Established in 1920, the company was originally a producer of children's toys and manicuring machines under the name of The American Toy Airship Company. As the need for precision screw machine products grew, the direction of the company changed and by 1935 had become a full-fledged screw machine job shop under the name American Electrical Products Co. The company is a hometown, third generation, family owned business with a solid reputation for quality and excellence-with an absolute commitment to selling to the customer in the most cost-effective way. This philosophy resulted in the company becoming one of the first screw machine job shops in the USA to become QS-9000/ISO-9002. In the year 2,000 to better identify the company as a manufacturer of screw machine products, machined parts and services, the name was changed to 'Amerascrew, lnc". Amerascrew has over 42,000 square feet in a modern, well-lit, clean and neat facility that houses a complete line of 5-axis CNC'S, multiple and single spindle automatics, CNC machining centers and other secondary equipment. This environment provides for optimum associate participation, quality and safety. At Amerascrew precision parts are produced from a variety of materials. Anything from free cutting brass to aerospace metals is routinely machined, often holding tolerances of .0005" or less. Whether your order quantity is a prototype or in the thousands, it will be completed on a timely basis. To increase part productivity and reduce customer part cost, in-plant customized equipment, and/or special fixtures are often produced. A completed part product may require a finishing operation, a small stamping or part assembly. |
